Northern Ireland minister’s proposal comes as PM denies plans for Swiss-style relationship with EU
Northern Ireland minister, Steve Baker, is proposing reopening the Brexit trade agreement David Frost struck with the EU as a means of fixing the problems caused by the controversial Northern Ireland protocol.
The proposals comes as Rishi Sunak moved to quell a rebellion in the Conservative party over suggestions Downing Street was mulling a Swiss-style relationship with the EU to ease wider trade barriers on food and agricultural products.
