SCOTLAND will vote in an independence referendum in October 2023, the First Minister has announced.. In a major update on Scotland’s route to indyref 2, Nicola Sturgeon told MSPs on Tuesday that the Scottish Government will ask the same question as in 2014 and that the referendum will be “consultative”.
