Boris Johnson will vote against Rishi Sunak’s Windsor framework deal, as he believes the revised plan will keep Northern Ireland “captured by the EU legal order”.
The former prime minister is expected to briefly leave his interrogation at the Commons privileges committee over Partygate on Wednesday afternoon to have his say on the measure.
